Ever thought about the true meaning of Christmas? Do you wonder what Christmas was like 1000 years ago?
Hawkesbury Library Service is hosting a talk by author and historian for Archaeological Diggings Magazine, Daryn Graham (pictured), on Tuesday, December 2 at 11am.
The free talk will cover the historical and archaeological evidence and proof of the birth of Jesus Christ.
More specifically, it will look at the various events and people tied to Jesus such as the census of Augustus, the real identity of the three wise men, and the story of the shepherds and the angels.
Hear about the first Christmas and how the tradition was carried on through generations.
■ The talk will be held in the Tebbutt Room, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street, Windsor. Bookings: 45604460.
