Police will continue to search bushland in the Oberon area on Sunday for a Belrose man believed to have gone missing following a bushwalk.
Sevak Simonian, aged 21, was last seen about 8pm on Monday 20 October 2014 leaving his Belrose home.
Concerned relatives reported him missing when he had not returned by Thursday.
Last Friday night, Mr Simonian’s car was located in the Kanangara Walls Road car park at Kanangara Boyd National Park.
Mr Simonian has previously gone on bushwalks alone in the same National Park.
Police from Chifley Local Area Command commenced a search of the area on Saturday morning, assisted by POLAIR, the Rural Fire Service (RFS), NSW Ambulance and State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers.
The search was called off about 6pm and will recommence about 9am Sunday.
Mr Simonian is described as being about 180cm tall, with a thin build, olive skin, short black curly hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Mr Simonian’s whereabouts is urged to come forward.
