HAWKESBURY’S Wine Food and Music Festival Raceday takes place at Hawkesbury Race Club, Clarendon, this Sunday, October 12.
This year’s festival is supporting Australian Rotary Health.
People can enjoy racing, visit wine stalls, sample international cuisine and enjoy free entertainment.
Food on offer includes traditional Greek and Turkish meals as well as more local delights such as Bilpin bush honey.
Drink stalls include Yalumba Wines, Hillbilly Harvest, Canonbah Bridge organic wines, James Squire 150 Lashes, Orchard Crush Cider, Robert Oatley Wines, Tooheys Bar and Italian Spitz.
Entertainers feature 3 Way Split, Kris McIntyre from Channel 9’s The Voice, the band OxyGen, Josh McIvor and Chris Stretton.
Punters can also meet Penrith Panthers player Jamie Soward, who will be at the Panthers merchandise stall for autograph-signing and photo opportunities.
There are also live bands, a jumping castle, face-painting, KindiFarm Baby Animals Petting Zoo and Bathurst 1000 on television screens.
The gates open at 10.30am.
Entry is $10 for adults; children’s admission is free.
