MAYOR Kim Ford has apologised for a speeding offence he obtained at Yarramundi on New Year’s Eve, when caught by police at 128km/h in a 60km zone. As a result, Mayor Ford had his licence disqualified for six months and was issued a $2197 fine.
‘‘The number of times I have been interviewed I have answered all questions honestly and openly; I may well have not issued an apology,’’ he told the Gazette.
‘‘This being the case, I make a formal apology to the community, my family and friends for my actions on New Year’s Eve.’’
