COMING off a massive win against their Hawkesbury cousins, UWSH is hoping to keep on a roll against King's Old Boys on Saturday, July 25.
King's might be in for a rough outing, as the club has not won first grade game this year in the division three of the NSW Suburban Rugby Union competition.
UWSH were merciless in their 62-0 thrashing of Hawkesbury Valley at the weekend, and will be licking its lips at the prospect of taking on King's.
First grade co-coach Mike West said the King's had big forwards, and UWSH would need to control them.
"With a solid performance last weekend we are positive going in to the Kings Old Boys match, everyone is confident in our structure and ability to get the job done," he said.
"The Kings loose forwards are big and strong, we need to dominate them early and get them on the back foot.
"The win against Hawkesbury Valley was a good confidence booster for the boys and allowed them to settle back in to our structure across the field, execution at set piece was the key. Talented young flanker Tully MacPherson is back in the team after a week off and is set for a man of the match performance."
King's did put up a solid fight the last time the two clubs played in round five, when UWSH triumphed 37-21.
However, King's is coming off a 50-0 thrashing by Waverley, and the prospect of facing UWSH must be daunting for the club.
First grade kick-off is at M.J. Bennett Reserve at 3.15pm, with fourth grade starting at 12pm.
