Jewish school Masada College refused hire from jumping castle business

It comes as a police vehicle was seen at Masada College in Sydney's upper North Shore on November 15, after Western Sydney Jump posted about rejecting the school's "blood money" on Instagram.

"Police were making inquiries this morning, there's no further police action anticipated," a NSW Police spokesperson said.

Masada College is an independent, co-educational Jewish school offering preschool to Year 12.

The screenshot shared by the Australian Jewish Association shows Western Sydney Jump telling the school in an email that it would not take a "Zionist booking".

"I don't want your blood money. Free Palestine," the screenshot read.

Western Sydney Jump's Instagram page, which is linked to the business' website, appears to have been deleted.

The website says the business provides jumping castles, inflatable games, giant lawn games and carnival food, and serves council, corporate, schools and private events.

The Australian Jewish Association shared the screenshot on X and called on the government to speak up.

"The government has allowed a violent and racist hatred to fester in a certain community," the post said.

"This hatred doesn't belong in Australia."

NSW Premier Chris Minns said the situation was "outrageous".

"It's not in keeping with any part of our multicultural community. I condemn it completely," he said.

"This must be investigated by federal and state authorities."

On November 14 the Premier had visited Israeli restaurant Shaffa in Surry Hills in a show of support after it was vandalised.

Federal Member for Bradfield Paul Fletcher said Masada College was a "remarkable school" in his electorate.

"For a business to discriminate against a school and refuse to lease a jumping castle to them because of their religious beliefs is disgraceful," he said on X.

"Racism has no place in Australia."
