ARE you a sucker for the songs of the seventies? Do the tunes Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and Waterloo make you wanna get up and boogie?
Well dust off those flares because Panthers North Richmond is hosting a fun-filled evening of dancing and disco à la ABBA, with its inaugural FABBA show.
According to the crew at Panthers, FABBA promises to deliver a show that is highly energetic, visually captivating, musically brilliant, audience engaging and always entertaining.
FABBA has been performing live shows since 2000, and the group is dedicated to replicating the ABBA sound - however they have also added a modern and theatrical element to their show.
Panthers events coordinator Alison Reynolds encouraged people to channel their best seventies selves for the concert and come in costume - think flares, hoop earrings, ‘pleather’ and feathered hair.
The event is family-friendly, and costs $20 for Panthers members and $25 for visitors. Kids are welcome and families can have a bite to eat at the bistro before the show.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 3, and doors open at 7.30pm with the show kicking-off at 8pm. Panthers is located at 33 Beaumont Avenue, North Richmond.
