Good mates since birth, Charlotte Watt and Charlotte Gavrilovic, couldn’t wait to start school together this morning.
They were among 38 kindergarten pupils to start 2018 at Richmond North Public School.
Their mums met during a local mother’s group and the families have been friends ever since.
Sharaan Gavrilovic said both herself and Charlotte were excited about starting school.
She said that Charlotte was so excited that she had trouble getting to sleep before the big day.
The Charlottes, like most of the other kindy kids, had no trouble leaving behind their parents and the playground for the classroom.
Richmond North Public have a transition to school program, where children come to the school for two hours a week for two school terms prior to starting kindergarten to adjust to the environment.
