Two men who fell from scaffolding in north-west Sydney on Tuesday morning have been taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The men, who are believed to be in their 20s, fell at about 10.10am on Monday, at a construction site on Meriton Street in Gladesville.
A NSW police spokeswoman said the men fell less than three metres.
Both men are being treated for lower leg injuries.
Paramedics had to undertake a rescue operation to access the men.
"They couldn't access the patients because they were on scaffolding," a NSW Ambulance spokesman said.
One patient was able to get himself down from the scaffolding while another patient was accessed at a lower level, after it is believed he was able to move himself down.
Four NSW Ambulance units attended the scene, including a special operations crew.
