RIVERSTONE Rangers under-15s player Krish Patel had a fantastic knock in Hawkesbury District Cricket Association at the weekend, scoring 191 runs.
Patel, 14, said it was an incredible feeling batting at the weekend, after easily topping his previous highest score of 67 not out.
“It felt really good, it was an amazing felling, I've never felt like that before,” he said.
“I was nervous before I got my century but it felt good once I got there.”
Patel said his team mates were all thrilled for him after his knock, which ended when an attempted big hit went wrong.
Patel, a right handed batting all-rounder, also plays representative cricket for Hawkesbury’s under-15s team.
Patel, who has played cricket for five years, said he hoped to become a professional cricketer, and had watched a lot of Ricky Ponting’s play in an attempt to get better.
Patel moved to Australia with his family from India 10 years ago and said he was a big Virat Kohli fan, but also liked Steve Smith too.
