THE family of the Glossodia motorbike rider who was airlifted on August 10 after hitting a black cow on Spinks Road is appealing for the cow’s owner to contact them to discuss the situation and to ensure it can no longer escape. The Chapman family said the rider suffered a shattered shoulder and wrist, fractured elbow and neck and six broken ribs. “We are grateful he is alive and the injuries can be worked through,” his daughter said.
