WINDSOR Public School pupils sported all the colours of the rainbow while raising funds for the school, during a Colour Fun Run at McQuade Oval.
The school’s P&C committee organises fundraisers annually that include the whole school, are fun, and provide some level of physical activity.
According to P&C member, Sophie Devine, funds raised at this year’s event will go towards upgrading every classroom with a Promethean interactive whiteboard system.
The whiteboards are designed for teaching, and create engaging and interactive learning experiences in the classroom.
“These will provide our teachers and students with the very latest technology to enhance every lesson,” said Ms Devine.
During the Colour Fun Run, colourful (non-toxic) chalk dust was shot into the sky, which culminated in all the students being covered in rainbow chalk by the end of the event.
“In the past few years we have held an Obstacle-a-thon which have been great successes in terms of student engagement and funds raised,” said Ms Devine.
