IT STILL elicits hearty guffaws 15 years after it hit our screens.
Hawkesbury Central Library is screening Crackerjack, the hilarious Australian comedy featuring real-life comedians Judith Lucy and Mick Molloy on Thursday, August 10 at 10am and again at 6pm
Also starring the iconic Bill Hunter the movie focuses on a bowling club in the city suffering financial difficulties. Molloy plays a good-for-nothing member who eventually bands together with the bowling enthusiasts to save their local club from a takeover and redevelopment.
Ultimately it comes down to a momentous lawn bowls tournament, being part of a team and people finding decency, as opposed to greediness.
The movie will be shown in the Tebbutt Room, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street Windsor. Entry is free but bookings are essential via Eventbrite or call 4560 4460.
Refreshments will be available before and everyone is welcome to bring snacks and drinks.
