HAWKESBURY’S first grade rugby teams both suffered losses at the weekend in NSW Suburban Rugby Union action.
Hawkesbury Ag College went down to Hunters Hill, while Hawkesbury Valley lost to Brothers at McQuade Park.
Hawkesbury Ag College’s first grade team lost a close match 18-13 in second division action.
Second grade took a beating, going down 44-12, as did third grade, which lost 80-7, while fourth grade did not fare much better either, losing 64-5.
The Colts had a much closer match, eventually going down 41-31.
In third division, Brothers got the better of Valley 34-26.
Second grade, however, had a big win, getting up 45-3, while third grade also secured a 21-12 victory, while the Colts got up 40-15, to wrap up a good day for Hawkesbury Valley.
This weekend, Hawkesbury Ag College will host Hills at College Oval, while Hawkesbury Valley will go on the road to take on Epping.
