With 130 successful shows in the bag and a well-earned reputation for outdoing themselves, it’s little surprise Hawkesbury District Agricultural Association president Ross Matheson is quietly confident show 131 will go off with a bang.
The annual celebration of all things Hawkesbury will as always take over Hawkesbury Showground from Friday to Sunday (May 5-7).
“Our show is the showcase of our district’s finest produce, livestock, businesses and home made creations combined together with the pizzazz of the amusement rides and show bags, which culminate to be the biggest annual event in our district,” he said.
“The success and continual growth is a result of the dedication of our hard working volunteers, community groups, exhibitors and staff.”
The show opens from 9am each day and tickets are available from the gate.
Hawkesbury Showground is located in Racecourse Road, Clarendon.
