HEAD up the mountain this weekend to Bilpin Hall for the truly delightful Bilpin Flower Show and Spring Fair.
Enjoy the gorgeous arrays of fabulous cut flowers, all vying for a ribbon in the annual competition, including magnificent arrangements and floral art.
Waratahs, grevilleas, flannel flowers and wattles feature for those who love their natives, as well as the flashier displays of spring wisteria, azaleas and irises.
Outside there’s the great plant, book and craft stalls, then you can sit down for delicious home-made lunch.
It’s open Saturday 11am - 5pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm. If you come late on Sunday, you can score armfuls of flowers cheaply from 4pm. Entry is $4 adults, children free. It’s at Bilpin District Hall, Bells Line of Road.
