CHRIS Waller dominated the standings at the Rowley Mile at Hawkesbury Race Club on Thursday, claiming the top three places in the race.
Waller had four entries in the mile long race, with McCreery winning it, followed by Marenostro, Junoob and Sweet Fire, which ran sixth.
Hawkesbury jockey Tye Angland rode Marenostro to second place, though finished a length behind McCreery.
The Rowley Mile is one of the race club’s biggest, with prize money of $100,000 on offer, with $60,000 for the winner.
Jason Attard’s Haymate was the only Hawkesbury trained runner and the five-year-old gelding ran seventh.
Attard’s Reiby Rampart won a 1300-metre maiden handicap on the day.
Fellow Hawkesbury trainers Wade Slinkard and Garry White had Stradazzle and Generalissimo win races.
Angland rode Generalissimo to win a 1000-metre maiden hanicap, while Claire Nutman rose Stradazzle to victory in a 1800-metre class 1 handicap.
