THIS Saturday, September 5 is the hotly anticipated Kurrajong Public School Spring Fair.
Rollicking hard from 9am-3pm, the fair this year boasts a Monster Garage Sale in the hall.
Books, DVDs, toys, kitchenware, pre-loved clothes and hundreds of other items will make for hours of happy sifting.
There’ll also be a plant stall, craft stall, a huge food hall, fresh fruit and veg, showbags, cakes and slices, face painting, performing arts groups, antique machinery and car display, a dragster slide, pirate ship ride, kanga drop and blow up obstacle course and a toddler umping castle.
You can also try your hand at games —pot luck, side-show clowns, a selfie competition, guessing competition, chocolate wheel and Sponge Bob spongethrowing, intriguingly billed as ‘getting the teachers back’.
There are also pony rides, martial arts, a smokin’ jazz trio and zumba. Parents can browse the huge voucher board with a ‘Better the Bid’ rather than a silent auction.
For those wanting their own eggs, there’ll be hand-raised chooks for sale, and a tiedye stall for the sartorially splendid, as well as a fun photo booth, art gallery, and a hairnails-tattoo stall.
