Trains are not operating on the T1 Western Line between Mulgrave and Schofields due to a person being injured by a train at Riverstone this morning around 9.30am.
Passengers are advised to delay their journey.
Buses will replace services, however are still being organised and are not on site.
A train is operating back and forth between Mulgrave and Richmond.
Additionally, Garfield Road is closed at Railway Terrace in Riverstone due to the incident.
Motorists are being turned around at the level crossing and can use Richmond Road, Quakers Hill Parkway, Sunnyholt Road and Windsor Road as an alternative.
