THE Green Ban fights by urban environmentalists against inner city developers in the early 70s have been resurrected with the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union imposing one on Thompson Square at Windsor this week.
‘‘Today, in an extraordinary and rarely seen move, the CFMEU, in response to community pleas for help, has placed an historic Green Ban on Thompson Square, Windsor,’’ community group CAWB’s chairman Dail Miller announced.
