Hawkesbury City Council has created a new online platform for local businesses to promote job vacancies and recruit locally.
With the economy opening up again, this provides businesses with the opportunity to take advantage of the new platform, according to Hawkesbury Mayor, Councillor Patrick Conolly.
"The Local Jobs Board has arrived in the Hawkesbury; it's another example of Council supporting our local employers," he said.
"This free Council resource provides a platform for local businesses to promote their local jobs to local people."
The Local Jobs Board is a central location for businesses to list their current vacancies, free of charge on the council website, and locals looking for a role can easily check out the current vacancies.
"This is a great initiative, with no cost to the business community or job seekers," Cr Conolly said.
"Our Local Jobs board is now live on our website, so I encourage you to take a look."
