Lockdown is tough, and it's important we all take some time out to look after our mental health.

Meditation is one way to block out the noise, so why not take advantage of a free online meditation class being offered by a Hawkesbury-based practice?

Emma Rowles of Winter Legal is sponsoring free online meditation classes to help locals through lockdown.

Angelina Ginis, a Mindfulness Meditation Instructor of the Hawkesbury Natural Therapies Centre, will be running the classes.

Locals will be able to log on on Saturday mornings from 7am, beginning this Saturday (August 14).

Ms Ginis said: "I will be offering guided mindfulness meditation, which is one of the easier forms of meditation, as all that is required of you is to breathe and listen".

Ms Rowles said she sponsored the classes because a lot of people were "finding the current lockdown difficult".

"Meditation classes might help us to relax and use our downtime at home in a positive way," said Ms Rowles.

The classes will be conducted via Zoom. The link will be posted on the Winter Legal Facebook page.
