There is still time to nominate your favourite businesses for this year's Hawkesbury Local Business Awards.
Anyone can nominate and there are a range of categories available to cater to all buisness types.
Precedent Productions managing director and Local Business Awards founder, Steve Loe, said that receiving a nomination gave business owners and their staff a great morale boost and was always appreciated.
"Year after year we see just how much it means to people to be nominated for the Hawkesbury Local Business Awards," he said.
"Nominees often say that it makes them feel good to know that customers or clients have taken the trouble to fill in a nomination form to put them forward for an award.
"It can also make a huge, very tangible difference to their business lives, as potential new customers or clients are often influenced when they see that the business has been nominated for these prestigious awards."
Mr Loe said that many businesses had already received nominations since the online portal opened earlier this month.
"The Hawkesbury community always rallies behind its local businesses, and this year is no exception," he said.
"Given the difficulty of the past year, it is wonderful to see the Hawkesbury community is making such a big effort to support its local businesses by putting them forward for the awards."
Major sponsors of this year's awards program at Hawkesbury City Council and NOVA Employment. Support sponsors are Richmond Marketplace, Hawkesbury City Chamber of Commerce and White Key Marketing.
