By his own standards Josh Addo-Carr is on somewhat of a try-scoring drought but says that's just what happens when Tom Trbojevic is your inside man for NSW.
Points have tallied up to 116 in the past two games 'The Foxx' has played in but the Melbourne and NSW speedster hasn't seen a slice of the try-scoring action.
This, from a man who scored six tries in one game earlier this season.
A 50-6 thrashing of Queensland in Origin I into Storm's 66-16 demolition job of Wests Tigers - in which there was 10 different try-scorers - has left Addo-Carr with a hankering to get across the line in game two in Brisbane on Sunday night.
But as much as he likes scoring tries, he's happy someone's doing it if it means winning the Origin series.
"I love scoring but as long as I do my job for the team it doesn't bother me to be honest, as long as I make my teammates better," he told AAP.
"I love scoring tries, but there's other little things that I need to do to make the team better.
"I've got Tommy Turbo inside me, so I'll just do the tough carries coming out our end and let him score all the tries."
Centre Trbojevic was man of the match in Townsville in game one for a sensational three-try haul.
Like Trbojevic, once Addo-Carr gets on a roll he's hard to stop.
The 25-year-old hasn't scored in six of his 14 NRL games this season, but has totalled 16 tries, just one behind Alex Johnston as the leading try-scorer.
Meanwhile, he's desperately aware of how intensely NRL teammate Cameron Munster will be aching for redemption at Suncorp on Sunday night.
The two Storm larrikins are close friends but fierce rivals when it comes to their state alliances.
"Me and Cam have a special bond at Melbourne, he's a great mate of mine," Addo-Carr said.
"I absolutely love playing against him. He's one of the best players in the world.
"Once we cross that white line onto an Origin field we're not mates, but once we step off the field we have a giggle every now and then.
"There's always laughs and all that kind of stuff, we have a little giggle about things that happen in games, but those Maroons are your enemies."
