What do you get when you combine two halves of Mountains-based pub rockers, The Generators and Daisycutter?
The Genecutters? Nah! The Daisyrators? Nah. What you get is the new Generators (note the subtle lack of "The").
The line-up features original Generators Justine Doherty on drums and Michael Rochfort on guitar, with former Daisycutter's Pete Glover on bass and Mel Power on vocals.
They will bring their mix of 70s and 80s rock covers to the stage of the Riverstone Schofields Memorial Club on Friday, July 2 from 9pm.
The band's setlist is flavoured by ample lashings of classic tracks by the likes of the Angels, AC/DC and Creedence.
It will be among the first gigs for the group since the pandemic killed the live music scene.
The gig will be extra special for Justine as it is a return of sorts to her old stomping ground as the former senior journalist and editor of both the Hawkesbury Gazette and Courier.
Riverstone Schofields Memorial Club is located in market Street, Riverstone. For information on more coming events visit riverstonememorial.com.au
