In coming months Sydney Coliseum Theatre will become the home of belly laughs, with two of the finest funny fellas in the business set to take to the stage.
On Friday, August 13, Jimoein will present his new show 'Turn It Up'. Then, on Friday, September 10, Ross Noble will bring his 'Comeback Special' to the theatre.
It may be a while away, but tickets for each of the shows are already on sale and are expected to go fast.
Jimeoin is of course an acclaimed and hugely loved and respected comedian, with wide appeal and a cheeky, no-gimmicks and superbly observed sense of humour.
He has a legion of loyal fans in Australia, as is the case in the UK, Europe nd America.
With the new show, fans can expect an evening of world-class comedy from the Irishman celebrated as one of stand-ups masters.
Over the years, Jimeoin has appeared on numerous television shows including Live at the Apollo, Conan, the Royal Variety Performance and Sunday Night at the Palladium.
Fresh off his runner-up performance on this year's Celebrity Apprentice, Ross Noble is sure to set the stage alight, especially after having to spend his first time off the live circuit for years.
Noble has an onstage presence like no other. His exuberance, spontaneity and cerebral style have paved the way for him to become one of the world's best-loved and recognised comics.
Freewheeling and off the cuff are valid descriptors of this master surrealist. His shows are laced with ample doses of imagination and tomfoolery.
Noble is a Perrier Award nominee, as well as being a Barry Award and Time Out Award winner for best live stand-up. He has also won shelf loads of other prestigious awards and nominations from around the globe.
Aside from his stand-up, Noble has tried his hand at stage acting, and was nominated for best actor in a supporting role in a musical at Britain's The Olivier Awards, for his performance in Young Frankenstein on the West End.
Tickets for both shows are available now and can be booked via the Sydney Coliseum website at sydneycoliseum.com.au.
Sydney Coliseum Theatre is located at West HQ, Railway Street, Rooty Hill.
