Australian country music's reigning male artist of the year Travis Collins will be heading to town on Friday, May 28, as part of his Weekend Throwdown Tour of the nation.
He will take to the stage of the Ettamogah Hotel at Kellyville Ridge, backed by goods mates Liam Brew and Mickey Pye.
Collins was awarded the pretigious title during this year's annual CMAA Golden Guitars, a highlight of the annual Tamworth Country Music Festival, which went ahead, despite the festival itself falling victim to COVID-19.
The title win was the second in a row for Collins, who continues to excite fans and industry-types with his dynamic liver performances and finely crafted songs.
A dynamic guitarist and vocalist, Collins showcases his mastery for his craft on his most recent release Brave And The Broken.
With the tracks in hand he headed to Nashville for a whirlwind recording session with Luke Wooten (Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley) and a studio band including Mike Rojas (Luke Bryan) on keys, acoustic guitarist Carl Miner (Taylor Swift) and bassist Jimmy Carter (Alan Jackson).
Each track on the relase was either writter or co-written by Travis himself.
For the co-writes he was joined by the likes of Jason Duke (Keith Urban) and Dave Turnbull (Luke Bryan).
With a growing string of number hit albums and number one songs, plus a decade of winning over fans across the country under his belt, Collins continues to cement himself as a mainstay on the Austrlaian music landscape.
His show at the Ettamogah will kick off at 8pm and is for those aged 18 and over.
