Oakville Fire Brigade Car Show fundraiser cancelled for 2021

The much-loved annual Oakville Bush Fire Brigade Car Show has been cancelled for 2021 due to Covid-19 restrictions on events.

"Due to circumstances beyond our control (Covid-19 and restrictions),the annual Oakville Bush Fire Brigade Car Show is cancelled for this year 2021," said car show organiser Ian Irons in an email to delegates.

"This decision is not the preferred option, but with the time constraints in getting information out to you, to put the event into your calendars for this year and the venue also not able to confirm the booking, for the same reasons (Covid-19 restrictions) there was no other choice."

The annual car show is the main fundraiser for the year for the Oakville Bush Fire Brigade, and usually occurs in the car park of the Pitt Town and District Sports Club.

"Hoping the world will be in a better place next year, for the 2022 Annual Oakville Bush Fire Brigade Car Show and hoping that you and your Clubs will be back to support us in 2022," said Mr Irons.

"Oakville Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade is 75 years old this year and were looking forward to celebrating this with you at the Car Show. Bring on next year!"
