From next month, the library will bring back its popular Movies@your Library, Chess Club and Tech Help.
Preschool Storytime at the central branch in Windsor will start again on Tuesday, February 2 from 11am, and will continue every Tuesday and Thursday of the school term.
Due to restrictions, Rhymetime and Richmond Branch Storytime will not start back until later in the year.
The Justice of the Peace service will resume on February 12 from 10.30am to 11.30am and then weekly every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at the Windsor branch. This is a free service and there is no need to book.
February will also see the return of the Tech Savvy for Seniors courses, which offer tips for getting the best out of smartphones and tablets.
This year, the monthly book chat night book club and Third Thursday book club will be joined by a new monthly online 'Time Travellers historical reads' book club that you can join via Zoom. These book clubs are free to join and more information is available on the Hawkesbury Library Service website [hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au/library].
Crafty knitters and crochet enthusiasts are encouraged to join the knitting with friends group, which will meet on the last Friday of each month.
And those interested in researching their ancestry and local history should consider membership to the Hawkesbury Family History Group, which will continue to host its monthly meetings, both in person at the library and via Zoom on the second Wednesday of each month from 10am.
In accordance with the service's COVID-Safe plan, participant numbers will be restricted, and social distancing requirements will be observed. Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities will also be available. Those feeling unwell are urged to not attend.
