Residents and staff of Fitzgerald Aged Care in Windsor were treated to a live art display by Hawkesbury artist Greg Hansell.
Many of Mr Hansell's paintings highlight his perceptions of the Hawkesbury, where he has lived for more than 30 years.
Shelley Whalan, Business Manager at Fitzgerald, said residents and staff had the pleasure of watching the artist in action, when he kindly visited the facility to deliver a "live art display".
"We are all in awe of his talent, and the residents really enjoyed engaging with him during his creative process, with Greg answering their questions and showing them the steps he takes to make his art," Ms Whalan said.
"Thank you Greg for taking time out of your very busy day to spend the morning with our residents, and for very kindly donating your amazing artwork to our facility."
Mr Hansell has been a finalist over 20 times in the Archibald and Wynne prizes and Salon de Refuse and was awarded a Centenary of Federation medal in 2001 for services to community arts and Windsor Library.
