Things don't always turn out as we expected them to. Expectation and reality can often be poles apart. But that's no excuse for abandoning positivity.
A satisfying day starts with a positive mindset. What we think and what we then experience are inextricably linked.
That's not to suggest we won't encounter negativity; that our day will be all sunshine and laughter devoid of grey skies and doubt. It is true, though, that as we think then so shall we be.
Sometimes it can require effort to find the pluses among the flood of minuses the world throws our way. Things rarely add up. Certainly the answer we get can be so distantly removed from what we had anticipated.
Effort expended on making a day into a positive experience is not wasted. A good and positive life is nothing more than a collection of good and positive days.
In the final analysis it's not what we have but who we are that matters. It's never too early to start working on developing a positive attitude ... but it can quickly and unexpectedly get to the point where it's too late.
None of us knows how long we have to live and we all want to find and hold on to happiness.
Our happiness, however, is our responsibility. It's something we find within ourselves
True, fulfilling and lasting happiness starts with positivity.
