Is your child in Years 4, 5 or 6? Are they fascinated about space? Do they want to have fun on Mars?
South Windsor-based One Giant Leap Australia Foundation - the organisation responsible for taking local children to Space Camp in California - is offering a whole day, practical workshop, which will see children designing Mars Rovers, completing robot challenges and learning about the mission to Mars.
Space for a Day will take place at Richmond Club on Saturday, November 21, from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Morning tea and lunch are included.
The cost is $140, however the program is eligible for the Creative Kids voucher program, meaning parents can use their $100 Creative Kids voucher to put towards the cost of the Space for a Day program.
(Every child in NSW is entitled to a Creative Kids voucher - apply for yours at https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/campaign/creative-kids.)
