Who has the best NRL highlights reel of the past 20 years?
Would it be Benji Marshall, who farewells his beloved Wests Tigers' fans against Parramatta on Saturday night?
There's the audacious flick pass to Pat Richards in the club's only premiership in 2005. Or that unforgettable stepping run against Cronulla where he finished with a no-look pass and Daniel Fitzhenry scored a try.
Or would it be Jarryd Hayne? There's that amazing try where he beat half of the St George Illawarra team in 2009. Or that spectacular try on debut for NSW in 2007.
What about Greg Inglis and his near 90m try for Souths against Brisbane, where he beat seven defenders on a diagonal run to the line?
You could throw in Billy Slater, the greatest fullback the game has seen. Or Johnathan Thurston - JT - with his sleight of hand.
You could argue to the cows come home on who has the best highlights package, but if every side had one of them you'd almost back the average crowd to almost double from its 15,000-16,000 average (pre COVID-19, of course).
Marshall changed the way the game is played and there is no greater compliment you can give any player.
There's the countless kids who tried the Benji step and some of them went on to be NRL players.
