The Hawkesbury Fun Fair will kick off this Saturday for two weekends of rides, food trucks, stalls and showbags at Hawkesbury Showground.
General manager Jade Evans said the event would give punters the chance to get their yearly dagwood dog fix while providing business for show operators that have suffered through COVID cancellations.
"All the favourites will be there like loaded fries, loaded waffles, toffee apples and waffles with cream. Showbags have been a hit [at other events around NSW]," she said.
"We have a brand new ferris wheel from Europe, the Hollywood Spin, and it's $30 if you book online for four hours of unlimited rides.
"We're super excited about the event and people are loving the value."
Organisers have a COVID-safe plan signed off by Service NSW.
The Hawkesbury Fun Fair will take place on Saturday, September 26 until Sunday, September 27, then Saturday, October 3 to Monday, October 5 (public holiday).
