The trusted local builders at G.J. Gardner Homes Hawkesbury welcome the opportunity for their family to build your family's next home, with the help of the HomeBuilder grant.

Michael Braund, his wife Kathleen, and his mother and father, Jane and Mike, took ownership of the G.J. Gardner Homes Hawkesbury office in 2018 with the intention of helping locals build homes that tick all the boxes, while experiencing a smooth and enjoyable journey from start to finish.

"I've been building for almost 15 years and the best thing about it is creating something for our clients that they love - something they are proud to call home," Michael said.

"We want people to feel confident in trusting our family with their family. We were in the same position at one point when trying to build with a young family in mind, and now we're in a wonderful position to help others build their perfect family home.

"We love Hawkesbury's relaxed, rural setting away from the hustle. It's the perfect spot to raise a young family, including our own."

Since the government's announcement of the HomeBuilder grant, lots of eager homebuyers are jumping at the chance to get into a new home.

The nationwide government program to support Australian homeowners and the Australian construction sector allows individuals or couples who are building or renovating their homes to apply for a single payment of $25,000.

This program is offered for construction contracts that are entered between June 4 and December 31 2020 for a new home build where the property value does not exceed $750,000.

Many people who meet the criteria could also be eligible to access the grant for a knockdown rebuild or significant renovation up to $750,000. Plus, the grant can be given in addition to the first homeowners grant.

Throughout the pandemic the Hawkesbury team have been able to continue a large portion of their jobs uninterrupted by adapting to new health and safety precautions and slightly shuffling their schedule to ensure the correct number of people on-site.

As for new build consultations, technology played a massive role with their industry-leading technology providing HD 3D walk-through experiences of the more than 70 G.J. Gardner home designs and displays on offer.
