Pitt Town drivers can now enjoy a smoother and safer journey as improvement work at the intersection of Pitt Town Road and Saunders Road has been completed.
Hawkesbury MP Robyn Preston said the NSW Government had delivered these improvements as part of infrastructure contributions secured by the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment through developers working in the Pitt Town area.
"This upgrade is great news for the many members of the community who use this intersection each day," she said.
"The work will improve safety at the intersection while also helping to ensure the intersection is fit for future use."
Crews started improvement work in September, 2019 to widen the road and install new dedicated turning lanes. Work was also carried out to improve drainage at the intersection and install new street lighting.
