Love the Hawkesbury is the message of Hawkesbury City Council and Destination NSW's new marketing campaign that encourage people to travel locally and boost tourism in NSW.
This message falls under the larger Love NSW marketing campaign and hopes to showcase the beautiful regions of NSW as enticing travel destinations.
Hawkesbury Mayor, Councillor Barry Calvert said the multi-year marketing campaign is focused on converting dreams and driving visitation, encouraging people to stay "locally" and spend "locally" in Sydney and NSW.
"The campaign showcases some of the Hawkesbury's most-loved locations," he said.
"By taking a short-break or extended holiday in the Hawkesbury, travellers from far and wide will discover something new in our region.
"I hope this is a chance for our tourism operators to also feel the love, at a time when they need it most."
In attempts to support the social and economic recovery of the Hawkesbury tourism sector and to confirm the 'open for business' message, the campaign features a variety of visitor experiences, including: amazing outdoor adventures, authentic field to fork dining options and relaxing places to stay.
