New computers for Probus Club will help keep members connected said Macquarie MP Susan Templeman
The Hawkesbury Combined Probus Club volunteers were helped by Ms Templeman, to obtain funding under the 2019/20 Volunteer Grants scheme to purchase two new laptops.
"The Club's management committee was made aware that neither the incoming secretary nor newsletter editor had access to personal computers capable of being used for club business," said Ms Templeman.
"This active club has 200 members, and the social activities they organise provide an important social connectivity for members.
"So the Club executive really need appropriate equipment to be able to communicate with members and coordinate its many weekly and special events."
The Hawkesbury Combined Probus Club thanked Ms Templeman for her assistance and support.
