Hawkesbury Visitor Information Centre proudly reopens it's doors as tourism looks to pick up in the Hawkesbury.
The newly renovated centre at Hawkesbury Valley Way, Richmond will welcome back the public from Saturday, August 1.
The visitor centre will be open - under COVID-Safe guidelines - Monday to Sunday from 9am to 4pm and the staff are excited to welcome everyone back.
Health and safety measures at the centre include:
- social distancing measures with 1.5 metre floor markings
- maximum of 12 visitors
- hand sanitiser station at entry
- queue locations
- high contact touch points regularly cleaned
- signage with COVID-19 messages
- perspex screens
- no group bookings or public programs until further notice
- cashless transactions only at the shop
- no unwell visitors
- a record of visitor names and phone number or email address will be kept for a period of at least 28 days
