THE community can once again browse collections and use public computers, study spaces and free WiFi at Hawkesbury Central and Richmond Branch Libraries, post-COVID shutdowns.
Social distancing measures and space capacity limitations are in place.
At Central Library in Windsor, reduced library hours are in place: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-1pm and Sunday 2-5pm.
At Richmond Branch, library hours are 9.30am-5pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9am-1pm.
The housebound service has resumed. Staff are continuing to provide contactless delivery and following increased safety measures. Contact the Outreach Librarian on 4560 4467 during opening hours.
Students do not need to follow strict physical distancing but should follow good hygiene practices in accordance with NSW Government guidelines on schools and childcare.
Hand hygiene facilities are available at both libraries, hard surfaces are regularly cleaned, and all loaned items will be sanitised.
Return chutes remain open at both libraries.
Council is phasing-in other library services as recommendations allow. Events remain suspended.
