UPDATE 20/03: Due to the growing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, RSPCA NSW has cancelled its physical relief point at Richmond, which was scheduled for Saturday.
RSPCA said in a statement: "RSPCA NSW is still committed to supporting the local community of Richmond and understand you may need urgent pet supplies on Saturday. If this is the case, you can pick up some limited supplies at Hawkesbury Stockfeeds (22 Windsor St, Richmond, NSW 2753)."
Locals who need further help with stockfeeds and pet supplies can fill out an assistance form and an RSPCA NSW representative will be in touch. The form is at https://www.rspcansw.org.au/bushfire-assistance-request/.
Anyone who has been affected by recent bushfires is invited to attend and pick up any supplies they may need to help care for their animals.
On offer will be feed and other necessary pet supplies.
The relief point is part of a series of pop-up distribution drops organised by RSPCA NSW in bushfire-affected areas around the state.
If any Hawkesbury locals are in urgent need of animals supplies, RSPCA NSW said assistance could be requested online via the online request form.
The RSPCA NSW Community Relief Point Richmond will be at the Hawkesbury Stockfeeds store, 22 Windsor Street, Richmond, this Saturday, march 21, from 10am until 4pm.
