The Pink Finss team members are kicking up their heels to celebrate and are encouraging the community to join them.
It's been 10 years since the charity was established, and Pink Finss Founder Jodie Amor said it was thanks to the Hawkesbury community that the team had been able to help so many people during that time.
What started as a dream for Ms Amor, to establish a support group network for women diagnosed with breast cancer, has grown over the years to become so much more.
The Hawkesbury community has truly embraced the organisation, allowing the charity to make a difference to the lives of almost 200 women and families.
In 2017, Pink Finss expanded its reach to assist all women's cancers - not just breast cancer.
Ms Amor said there had been significant growth in the calls for help, particularly over the last three months with over 18 new enquiries, which was a bittersweet reality for the team.
"Whilst we are hearing more and more stories of diagnosis, it is comforting to know that we are there to offer a service that is really going to make a huge difference, not just to the woman diagnosed but to the whole family unit," Ms Amor said.
"What makes the Pink Finss so special is that we offer a personal touch like no other and at the end of the day if you have a loved one who is being diagnosed with cancer, you want them to have access to that!"
To ensure the 10-year celebration is a memorable one, Pink Finss is hosting a Pink Tie Ball at Hawkesbury Race Club on Saturday, March 14.
Held in the undercover outdoor arena, the event will see the facility transformed into a ball room.
Kym Burton, Pink Finss Community and Business Manager, said the team was excited to be offering a brand new car on the night, which will be won by a lucky guest.
"Reaching 10 years is a real milestone and we really wanted to do something on the night that was fit for the occasion and that we had never done before," Ms Burton said.
"Knowing that someone is going to win a brand new car at one of our events makes it even more exciting for us and for everyone attending.
"We are so grateful to Ontrak Group and McGrath Mitsubishi Liverpool for generously donating the car to win at the Pink Tie Ball."
Tickets to the Pink Tie Ball can be purchased at www.pinkfinss.com.au.
There are also tables of 10 available if you wish to get a group together and celebrate.
Tickets include a three-course meal, beer, wine, soft drink, entertainment by the High Rollers Band and more.
