A second man has been charged over the 2014 armed robbery of a Richmond pub, where two men allegedly threatened a staff member with a handgun and knife.
Police will allege two armed men entered the licensed premises on the corner of East Market and Windsor Streets shortly after midnight on Saturday, September 27, 2014, where they threatened a staff member before stealing cash.
The two were last seen running on East Market Street before entering a Holden Commodore sedan on Francis Street.
Detectives from State Crime Command's Robbery and Serious Crime Squad commenced an investigation under Strike Force Braithwaite, and a 47-year-old man was charged in July 2019. He remains before the courts.
"Following further inquiries, a 39-year-old man was arrested at a Silverwater facility just before 9.30am yesterday (Tuesday, January 28)," police said in a statement.
"He was charged with robbery while armed with dangerous weapon."
He appeared before Parramatta Local Court yesterday, where he was refused bail to reappear at the same court today (January 29).
