A man allegedly drove with a blood alcohol reading more than three times the legal limit at South Windsor.
Hawkesbury police stated officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Berger Road that had allegedly been involved in an earlier incident about 11.40pm on Wednesday, January 22.
The vehicle failed to stop and a short pursuit began, ending when the vehicle pulled over in Hale Crescent.
"The 32-year-old driver from Cambridge Gardens was arrested and subjected to a road side breath test, which proved positive," police stated.
"A subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of 0.179, over three times the legal limit."
The man was charged with high range drink driving among other charges and his licence was confiscated and suspended.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Windsor Local Court next month.
