Man charged after allegedly forcing his way into Bligh Park home

A woman was assaulted and property damaged after a man allegedly forced his way into a Bligh Park home, according to police.

Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command (PAC) attended the BlighPark home in the afternoon of Thursday, January 9 following reports of a domestic incident.

"Police will allege a 43-year-old male from South Windsor forced his way into a residential premises, assaulted a female and damaged property," a police statement said.

"Upon police arrival the male had left the location.

"Investigations continued and on Saturday evening, January 18, the male was located by police in the Windsor CBD and arrested."

The man was taken to Windsor police station and charged with aggravated break and enter.

Bail was refused by police, and the man was placed directly before court.
