One man has been charged after two trucks crashed into a Schofields home last month.
A Mitsubishi Fuso Canter and Hino tabletop truck collided shortly after 10pm on December 24 at the intersection of Heathland Avenue and Antonia Parade, a NSW Police statement said.
"Both trucks continued and crashed into the front of a two-storey house, causing structural damage," the statement said.
"The 30-year-old driver of the Hino was trapped for a short time before being removed by Fire and Rescue NSW. He was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment of serious leg injuries.
"The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 29-year-old man, was able to exit his truck without assistance and was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment of minor injuries."
No one inside the house was injured.
Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit and specialist forensic police examined the crime scene and officers attended a house at The Ponds about 3.30pm on December 26, arresting the 29-year-old man.
He was taken to Riverstone Police Station and charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, and driving with an expired licence.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear before Blacktown Local Court on January 17.
Investigations into the incident continue.
