FOLLOWING the roaring success of Belle Kat Productions' classic cabaret show 'Let's Be Bad!' featuring The Kit Kat Club at the historic Richmond School of Arts, the company is repeating the show at Windsor Function Centre in November.
Belle Kat Productions is a joint-venture between local singing teacher and performer Meera Belle of Pitch Perfect Vocal Studio and performing arts academy owner Katrina Pritchard-Stutz of GWS Academy of Ballet and Music Theatre.
Under Ms Belle's theatrical direction and with Ms Pritchard-Stutz as artistic director, the new company's first venture into classic cabaret was a roaring success at Richmond School of Arts, with sold out audiences for the season.
"Featuring a cast of local singers and dancers, the show is a wonderful foray into the murky underworld of old-style cabaret the likes of which Hawkesbury would otherwise never see," said Ms Belle.
Ms Belle has had extensive overseas experience in music theatre, opera and cabaret, and promised punters "an experience like no other" with 'Let's Be Bad!'.
"People don't know real cabaret anymore, not the true tradition still performed in all the greatest theatre cities over the world," she said.
"Katrina [Pritchard-Stutz] and I have both performed professionally overseas for many years and we understand the genre very well. It has been tremendously exciting to come together and realise a mutual love of the art and to be able to give local performers the opportunity to present this in the Hawkesbury and beyond.
"Our audience was directed to dress appropriately in pseudo-1920s/1930s style to add to the ambience and the entire show is formed around a central story of a little speakeasy in a Gotham-esque city where anything and everything is fair game and the club itself is a 'walk on the wild side'."
The adults only event is being marketed as a perfect chance for locals to do something rare and different as a couple or group.
'Let's Be Bad!' featuring The Kit Kat Club is a racy night of cabaret featuring famous show tunes and pop ditties with a twist.
The show will take place at Windsor Function Centre, 7 Dight Street, Windsor on Friday, November 15, at 8pm. Tickets are available from Try Booking at https://bit.ly/31CuD2a or on Facebook.
Belle Kat Productions will also be bringing the Kit Kat Club back to the Richmond School Of Arts for a Christmas show called 'Just Naughty!'.
