Police are urging the drivers of four vehicles to come forward following a fail-to-stop crash that severely injured a pedestrian in Windsor.
The 38-year-old woman was walking west across Macquarie Street about 4.50am on September 20 when the incident occurred, NSW Police stated.
"Two vehicles slowed, steered around her and continued on. A third vehicle struck her and failed to stop and assist," the statement said.
"Police are specifically seeking to speak with the drivers of a white single cab ute, a white transit van, a white hatchback and a dark coloured sedan.
"It is believed that the drivers of these vehicles may have seen the pedestrian prior to the collision."
Crash Investigation Unit manager, Inspector Katie Orr said there was "no suggestion any of these vehicles contributed to or played a role in the collision whatsoever".
The woman was taken to hospital in a critical but stable condition and police subsequently arrested and spoke with a man, who has since been released pending further inquiries.
Investigators are also re-appealing for two motorists who were in the area between 4.30am and 5am on September 20 to come forward.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
