Police have appealed for information on the location of seven firearms stolen from a McGraths Hill home last month.
The firearms were stolen from a Havelock Street home between midnight and 5am on Tuesday, September 17 while the residents, including two young children, were asleep inside, a statement from NSW Police said.
"As investigations continue, detectives are appealing for assistance to locate the outstanding stolen firearms, which include [an] Anschutz .22 lever action rifle, Browning .22 lever action rifle, El Gamo .177 air rifle, single barrel .410 shotgun, Parker Hale .243 Winchester rifle, Sako .222 Remington rifle [and] Puma .22 lever action rifle," police stated.
"Detective believe it's likely the firearms have been on-sold and are seeking information from the community about the illicit firearm supply and acquisition."
The registered firearms were contained in a safe stolen from the garage of the home, police stated. Also stolen were various power tools, a CRF50 motorcycle, and a Toyota Hilux utility.
Strike Force Ilett was established by detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad to investigate the incident.
Two search warrants were executed at Blackett and Blacktown last month, with investigators recovering a number of stolen firearms and the stolen Toyota Hilux.
Two men, aged 29 and 35, have been charged by Strike Force Ilett investigators and remain before the courts.
