A 68-year-old man has suffered fractures to his arms and legs in a motorcycle crash at Wisemans Ferry.
The incident occurred in the morning of Saturday, October 19 when the motorcycle crashed on Old Northern Road, landing in a recreation reserve near the scene, according to a statement from CareFlight.
The crew was tasked to the scene shortly after 11.30am and landed nearby, the statement said.
"Police met the helicopter as it landed and transported CareFlight's critical care team up the road to the scene," the statement said.
"CareFlight's medical team treated the man for injuries including fractures to his upper and lower limbs."
A road ambulance transported the patient to the helicopter and he was flown to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
